O’Connor Law’s Attorneys Named Super Lawyers and Rising Star 2022

O’Connor Law is proud to announce that Attorneys Michael J. O’Connor and David A. Miller have been named Pennsylvania Super Lawyers, and Attorney James M. O’Connor has received the honor of Pennsylvania Rising Star.

Attorney Michael J. O’Connor is the founder of O’Connor Law. In addition to being a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer since 2001, Attorney Michael J. O’Connor is also a Best Lawyer by US News & World Report since 2015, member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, member of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, and received an AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale-Hubbell. Attorney David A. Miller is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and received AV Preeminent Rating by Martindale-Hubbell.

The title of Super Lawyer is presented to attorneys who are in the top five percent of attorneys in each state. They are also recommended by their peers to receive the title. Research conducted by Law & Politics is also considered when awarding an attorney with the title of Super Lawyer. To become eligible for this title, attorneys must complete a few requirements, which includes a nomination by an attorney’s peers that appears on ballots to all lawyers located in the state who have been in practice for at least five years. Instead of being based on reputation, the nominations are meant to be based on one’s personal observation.

Attorney James M. O’Connor has been named a Rising Star since 2020. To add, Attorney James M. O’Connor has been recognized by the National Trial Lawyers as a Top 40 under 40 Civil Plaintiff attorney.

A Rising Star represents the top 2.5% of all attorneys in the state of Pennsylvania. Attorneys must meet certain eligibility requirements to be considered for Rising Star. An attorney must be less than forty years of age or have been practicing for less than ten years. Law & Politics awards the title of Rising Stars through an extensive nomination and polling process. Rising Stars acknowledges the top and upcoming attorneys throughout Pennsylvania.
