Attorney Michael J. O'Connor of Frackville, PA was reelected to the Supreme Council Board of Directors for another three year term. The election was held by the Knights of Columbus Supreme Council in Washington, DC on August 3 - 5 2010. The motion to nominate Sir Knight O'Connor was made by Pennsylvania State Deputy George Koch of Philadelphia.
O'Connor served as State Deputy for Pennsylvania from 2006 - 2008. He joined the Knights of Columbus at Rev. James A. Hogan Council 2580 in Frackville, PA., and is a past Grand Knight of the council. He also served as District Deputy, State Advocate, and State Legislative Chairman, as well as Navigator of Schuylkill Assembly 923.
O'Connor is a very active lay Catholic currently serving the Allentown Diocese on the diocese Priest Review Board, and on the diocese Pastoral Council. O'Connor is also a member of St. Ann's Church, Frackville, PA.
O'Connor is the founder of O’Connor Law, a law firm with 15 offices throughout Pennsylvania. He specializes in protecting the rights of injured workers and Philadelphia Magazine named him a "Super Lawyer" for the 8 consecutive years in the field of the workers' compensation law.
