Attorney O'Connor Named Chair Of The Workers Compensation And Workplace Injury Section At The 2010 The American Association of Justice

Attorney Michael J. O'Connor, founder of O’Connor Law, was named Chair of the Workers' Compensation and Workplace Injury Section at the 2010 American Association for Justice (AAJ) Section Elections held in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada at the AAJ 2010 Annual Convention which ran from July 10 - 14, 2010.

At the convention, Attorney O'Connor was asked to moderate for the Workers' Compensation Education Program which included topics on Ethical Considerations for the Workers' Compensation Practitioner: Professionalism and The Evolution of Workplace Injuries: Documenting Complex Regional Pain Syndrome and Maximizing Recovery - Identification, Diagnosis, and Treatment in Upper and Lower Extremity Crush Injuries.

The AAJ Annual Convention features education programs for plaintiff lawyers with a national focus; Section, Litigation Group, and Committee meetings; and a line up of political speakers, including candidates, elected officials and pundits. Thousands of trial lawyers from across the U.S., Canada, and beyond attended this event gaining a national perspective on substantive legal topics and valuable advocacy skills.
