Chambersburg, Pennsylvania Workers’s Compensation/Personal Injury, Franklin County

Chambersburg is a borough in Pennsylvania that has literally had to rise from the ashes. The borough has an important place in America history during the Civil War when large portions of the town were burned at the orders of a Confederate General. After years of reconstruction it was rebuilt into one of the most populated boroughs in the Commonwealth while still sustaining a small-town feel.

According to the 2010 US Census, the population is around 20,268 and when combined with the surrounding areas, the population of Greater Chambersburg is around 52,273. Chambersburg is the County Seat of Franklin County and is just 13 miles north of the Maryland border, 52 miles southwest of Harrisburg, and 30 miles north of Camp David (the famous retreat for the President of the United States.)

The surrounding areas of Chambersburg have a large farming population with a little less than 44,000 acres of farmland in Franklin County. Manufacturing in Chambersburg includes machinery production, metal fabrication, and food processing with manufacturing companies such as TB Wood’s Inc. and Manitowoc cranes being the largest. However, much of the economy is still largely agriculture based.

Chambersburg’s retail sector has been steadily growing in the past decade. Stores such as Wal-Mart and Lowe’s have served the population with jobs and shopping for years and more retail chains have been opening such as Target, Kohl’s, and Michaels. The Chambersburg Mall is located in the village of Scotland, about four miles north of the borough on Interstate 81.

The largest employer in Franklin County is the Letterkenny Army Depot which is located just northwest of Chambersburg. The depot occupies nearly 18,000 acres and is used to conduct maintenance, modification, storage, and demilitarization operations on tactical missiles and ammunition.

I only talked to Anna she was super!! I don't see anything you can do to make it better or easier. I feel bad it took me long to pay you. I never thought I would get approved in five months. I loved what you all did for me.
