Sunbury, Pennsylvania Workers’s Compensation/Personal Injury

The main waterway that literally divides Pennsylvania is the Susquehanna River. It starts in upstate New York and flows into Maryland and the Chesapeake Bay. The river is so vast that it has both an east and west branch in the northern tier of the state.

The place where the two branches of the river meet to become one is the city of Sunbury, the county seat of Northumberland County in northeastern Pennsylvania. Sunbury lies off the eastern bank of the river. Across the bridge, on the western shore lie the communities of Lewisburg to the north and Selinsgrove to south. The three communities have a combined population of 173,726.

There is plenty of economic activity in the area. Sunbury is the headquarters of Weis Markets, Sunbury Textile Mills, R.U. Troutman and Sons (the makers of potato chips, pretzels and other food products), Sunbury Motor Company, and Great Coasters Internationals, a manufacturing firm that designs roller coasters for amusement parks. The great inventor, Thomas Edison, once called the city home.

There are two great institutions of higher learning on the other side of the river, with Bucknell University in Lewisburg, and Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove. An extensive flood prevention system has provided protection from major floods, and the Sunbury Riverfront Park Project is in the planning stages.

Across the river along U.S. Route 11 is a long strip of shopping centers and restaurants that is anchored by the Susquehanna Valley Mall. Lewisburg is the home of a U.S. Federal Penitentiary, where union boss Jimmy Hoffa once did time. The bridge that crosses the river from the western shore is where Pennsylvania Route 61 begins. The route eventually ends in downtown Reading, Pa. and covers over 77 miles. Between the two points of Route 61 is the main office of the law firm of O’Connor Law, located in Frackville, Schuylkill County, just 37 miles south of Sunbury.

The firm has had a presence in the Sunbury area since its inception with a local office located on 106 Market Street, directly across the street from the Northumberland County courthouse. Two of the firm’s many practices of law include workers compensation and personal injury with deeply rooted sentiment toward injured workers and their families. Our attorneys and staff are experienced in dealing with these claims and others. Benefits can help the injured by providing replacement income, helping pay medical expenses and vocational rehabilitation benefits, such as job placement assistance. If you have been hurt on the job, taken ill, or believe, you need to speak with an experienced workers compensation attorney for any reason, make sure you get everything you deserve.

I only talked to Anna she was super!! I don't see anything you can do to make it better or easier. I feel bad it took me long to pay you. I never thought I would get approved in five months. I loved what you all did for me.
